• UN Training on Negotiation and Mediation for Civil Society Organizations Baghdad, Iraq, 20 October 2016 – A workshop to enhance the negotiation and mediation skills of local civil society groups and women leaders, organized by the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and UN Women, concluded in Baghdad today with calls for increased participation of civil society في قلب العاصفة: التدهور البيئي، وتغير المناخ، والنزوح في العراق تُعَدُّ الهجرة بسبب تَغَيُّرْ المناخ مشكلة ناشئة وغير مفهومة تماماً. وأشارت التقارير الصادرة عن مركز مراقبة النزوح الداخلي إلى أن الكوارث والظروف الجوية القاسية تسببت في أكثر من 50% من عمليات النزوح الداخلي حول العالم خلال عام 2021 منظمة جمورابي لحقوق الانسان تكشف عن انتهاكات حقوقية مسكوت عنها في الوقت الحاضر  آفة الأمية والتسرب من المدارس تسود جميع المحافظات العراقية.  المد الأصولي الظلامي والتهديدات الأمنية وحركة النزوح واللجوء والعنف الآسري اسباب مركزية في انتشار هذه الآفة.  ما المطلوب من وزارة التربية والجهات الحقوقية في التصدي لهذه الظاهرة التي تهدد حضارة البلاد. • من الانتهاكات الحقوقية المسكوت عنها في الوقت الحاضر تفشي الأمية مجددا في العراق، بعد أن كانت البلاد من البلدان السباقة في القضاء على هذه الآفة الاجتماعية الخطيرة.
